Every big house in Reims sells a ladder of visits. The bottom rung is a cellar walk and one glass. The top rung is hours long, with old vintages, and costs about what dinner does. The cellar is the same chalk at every price; what changes is what gets poured.
We took each price from the house's visit page, or from its listing with the Reims tourist office where the house shows none, on 2 November 2026. House prices are per adult in euros, paid to the house. The tours from Reims station are sold in US dollars on GetYourGuide, so the two currencies sit side by side below.
The quick answer
Entry visits in 2026: Mumm €30, Pommery €30, Lanson €32, Veuve Clicquot €36, Taittinger €40, Ruinart €90. Moët & Chandon in Épernay starts at €48. Top visits reach €260 at Veuve Clicquot and €520 at Moët. Grower tours from Reims station cost $135 to $282 and include transport, a guide and six to nine glasses at two or three family estates.
How much does a champagne cellar visit cost in Reims in 2026?
From €30 at Mumm and Pommery to €90 at Ruinart for the entry visit. Most houses sit between €30 and €40, with one or two glasses.
The table lists each house's cheapest and dearest public visit for an adult. Every entry visit includes a guided cellar walk and at least one glass. Charles Heidsieck is missing because it sells no public visits; its cellars open by appointment only.

How much does a Veuve Clicquot visit cost?
€36 for Brut Yellow Label, the one-hour entry visit. The ladder climbs to €60, €80, €160 and €260 for La Grande Dame, a four-hour visit.
The Veuve Clicquot visit page lists five experiences for 2026: Brut Yellow Label, the birth of a style, €36 for an hour; the art of blended rosé, €60 for an hour; One Quality, The Finest, €80 for 90 minutes; the art of aging, €160 for two hours; and La Grande Dame, €260 for four. Skip the entry visit if you can stretch to €60. The rosé visit is the same length and pours the wine the house is known for blending.
Mind the calendar before you pick a rung. Veuve Clicquot opens Wednesday to Sunday until 3 January 2027 and then lists no visits until spring. The Veuve Clicquot and family winery day costs $371 and wraps the cellar visit with four cuvées, a grower, lunch and Hautvillers. Is it worth it? Our Veuve Clicquot tour guide does the sums.
| Veuve Clicquot visit | Length | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Brut Yellow Label, the birth of a style | 1 h | €36 |
| The art of blended rosé | 1 h | €60 |
| One Quality, The Finest | 1 h 30 | €80 |
| The art of aging | 2 h | €160 |
| La Grande Dame | 4 h | €260 |
Which Reims champagne house visit is the cheapest?
Mumm's €30 Cordon Rouge visit and Pommery's €30 cellar tour. Lanson follows at €32 and takes children at €15 to €20.
- Mumm: Cordon Rouge €30 with one glass, Pinot Noir Celebration €42 and Vintage Grand Cru €60 with two, all 90 minutes.
- Pommery: the cellars and the making of champagne from €30 (1 h, one glass), the genius of Madame Pommery €48 (2 h, two glasses), champagne and heritage from €55, culinary visit €150 (3 h, three glasses).
- Lanson: the Original Creation €32 and the Emblematic Creation €40 (1 h 30), the Signature €55 and the Vintage €85 (2 h). Teens 13 to 17 pay €20, children 7 to 12 €15, under-7s nothing.
Mumm wins on location: it is the one big house a short walk from the station. Pommery wins on calendar, open every day of the year bar three. Our tip: the €42 Pinot Noir visit at Mumm adds a second glass for €12, the best value step on this page.

What do Ruinart and Taittinger cost?
Ruinart charges €90 for its one public cellar visit, €50 for ages 7 to 17. Taittinger's Instant visits cost €40 to €100.
Ruinart sells a single cellar visit: two hours, twelve places, two cuvées, €90 for adults and €50 for ages 7 to 17, free under 7. The tourist office listing shows €85 for two cuvées and €100 for three; trust the house's own €90 and check at checkout. It is the dearest entry visit in Reims, and for chardonnay fans the one to splurge on: the oldest house on the Saint-Nicaise hill, with chalk quarries on the UNESCO list.
Taittinger publishes no prices on its own site, so we took them from the Reims tourist office: Instant Rosé €40 (Brut Réserve and Prestige Rosé), Instant Gourmet €80 (a food pairing), Instant Comtes €80 (three cuvées ending on Comtes de Champagne 2013), Instant Duo Comtes €100. Ages 7 to 17 pay €25 for a grape juice tasting.
| Taittinger visit | What you taste | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Instant Rosé | Brut Réserve, Prestige Rosé | €40 |
| Instant Gourmet | Prestige Rosé and a vintage, with food | €80 |
| Instant Comtes | Brut Réserve, Prélude Grands Crus, Comtes de Champagne 2013 | €80 |
| Instant Duo Comtes | Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs and Rosé | €100 |
| Ages 7 to 17 | Chardonnay grape juice | €25 |
How do Reims prices compare with Moët & Chandon in Épernay?
Moët is dearer: €48 for the entry visit against €30 to €40 in most Reims houses, and its ladder runs to €520.
Moët & Chandon on the Avenue de Champagne lists The Imperial Moment at €48, Signature at €65 and Grand Vintage at €85, all 90 minutes. Above that come Moët Collection €190, Haute Œnologie €220, Terroir Treasures €235, À la Volée €460 and a Habits de Lumière dinner at €520. The house recommends Signature for first-timers. We agree, once.
Moët is in Épernay, 25 to 35 minutes from Reims by regional train, so add a return fare. If you are choosing between the two big names, Moët or Veuve Clicquot compares the visits, and Reims or Épernay helps you pick a base.
Is a grower tour from Reims better value than a house visit?
Per glass it is close, and the tour adds the transport and the growers. Two entry visits in Reims cost €60 to €76; the morning tour is $135 for six glasses at two family estates.
The houses on the hill are in town. The family growers are not: they sit in villages in the Montagne de Reims and the Marne valley, which you cannot reach on foot and rarely by bus. That is what the tours sell. A minivan from the Reims Centre station tourist office, a guide, entry fees, and two or three family estates that do not run public visitor centres.
The three family domains day is the fullest of them: nine glasses at three estates, a lunch main course, Hautvillers and the Avenue de Champagne for $282. Our call for most people is a grower tour in the morning and one house visit after lunch. Pick the house by the wine you like, not the price.
| Option | Price per person | Glasses | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mumm + Pommery entry visits | €60 | 2 | Two big-house cellars, walk or bus |
| Veuve Clicquot rosé visit | €60 | Rosé tasting | One house, one hour |
| Morning tour | $135 | 6 | Two family estates, minivan, guide |
| Afternoon tour | $146 | 6 | Two family wineries, Hautvillers |
| E-bike day | $214 | 4 wines | Three hours on an e-bike, lunch |
| Three family domains | $282 | 9 | Three estates, lunch, Hautvillers |
| Veuve Clicquot and grower day | $371 | About 10 | Veuve Clicquot, a grower, lunch |
